An educationist par excellence, Pali has launched one of the biggest initiatives in online dance training.

Her trainings through the portals, learnkathakonline (In English and Hindi) and natyasutraonline have more than 500,000 subscribers. This initiative is making her a household name in the field of kathak with a promise to reach out to millions of enthusiasts all over the world.

She has been recognised as the ‘Kathak Ambassador' at the House of Lords, London Parliament in 2018, for her contribution to the propagation of classical Indian dance forms, beyond Indian borders.

She was also awarded the Cultural Ambassador to the Middle East at the Indian Consulate in 2016

She was a National scholarship holder and has received the prestigious Lachhu Maharaj Award for Abhinaya or art of expression. She is also a Gold medalist from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in 1990.

She holds a Doctorate from Ecole Supérieure Robert de Sorbon in Dance Education and and Honorary Industrial Doctorate in extensive research and realisation on Performing Arts by AIMRI.

Community projects

Dr. Chandra is known for her contribution to the society and environment and has taken several charity initiatives since 1995.

From awareness programs on people with special needs to the homeless of Harrow in UK. From giving company to the lonely in old age homes of Belmont Elderly Centre to dancing with the physically challenged of Aspire, Stanmore.

She has organised fundraisers in Dubai, Bangalore and Chennai to help with cornea transplants for blind girls. Dr. Chandra has done several projects to help raise awareness towards the environment as well. Eg Ganges To Thames, Continental Shift and Five Elements.
