Sufi Noor
Sufi Noor was dedicated to Rabia Basri, the first lady Sufi saint known to the world.
Her dua translated in urdu and in english was the opening act of the evening enacted by Pali Chandra.
The event was an amalgamation of Contemporary and sufiana kathak with live qawwali singing, choreograhed and led by Pali Chandra,
The concept and treatment of the entire production is aligned to the theme of a Sufism. Synchronisation of movements with music in praise of the Beauty of the Soul, makes this the Dance of the Soul!

The show presented pieces like Sufi Noor - Aye Ri Sakhi and Rabia Basri ki Dua which were amazing pieces of choreography by Pali Chandra - These truly expressive peformances were part of the Sufi Noor evening.
Sufi Kathak performances on well-loved Qawwalis and Sufiana kalaam like Duma Dum Mast Kalandar, Chhaap Tilak Sab Chheeni Re Tose Nanina Milai Key, Mere Maula Karam Ho Karam, Mora Piya Ghar Aaya Ho Lalni Sajda, Teri Dewani, etc.
Performed on recorded and /or live music originally sung by famous singers like Abida Parveen, Kailash Kher, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and many more
